Cowboy Dating

There are just too many questions in this whole thing when you find yourself liking somebody. What if he's not feeling it and is just trying to be nice? What if you're just a one night stand and don't know? What if they're trying to blow you off and you don't realize it? This could all be solved by people just being straight with each other. If you're not feeling it, say so. If you're only in it for the cowboy dating, say it, maybe that's all the other person wants too. But for some strange reason I'll never understand, that's just too easy. Let us not complicate it even more by playing silly games that there's no rule book for. Aren't we all basically searching for the same thing anyway? Don't we all want that one person in our life that we know we can turn to when things get rough? The one that can hold us and knows the right thing to say to make it all better. Aren't we all looking for the person who compliments our personality? Or thinks our quirks are cute? The one who makes our heart skip a beat when we see them or puts the butterflies in our stomachs when the phone rings? So when someone does all that for you why risk letting it pass you by just because other people tell you. I for one think this is just silly. So you know what? I think tomorrow I'll go punch a certain someone and run away.maybe he'll get the point then that I like him. And if he does and he likes me back, maybe he will retaliate by putting gum in my hair on the playground.
