Animal Jam Online

The new series includes playful animal hosts created by Jim Henson's Muppet Workshop including Edi the Zebra, Waffle the Cow Monkey (a monkey who pretends he's a cowboy), and Bozark Animal Jam Superstar, and incorporates live action footage of real animals in the wilderness. During each episode the animal jam hosts invite children visiting the set to participate in a variety of dance and movement activities, from hugging, rhythm and body language, to marching and balance. Moreover, National Geographic is launching a virtual animal kingdom for kids. National Geographic partnered with Smart Bomb Interactive for the virtual site called Animal Jam. Animal Jam takes place in the world of Jam. It includes the beaches of Crystal Sands, the tree village of the Sarepia Forest, and the mysterious ruins of the Temple of Zios. Players can access video features, photos and facts about animals in the virtual game. The virtual world also includes games and trivia challenges. Now you and your kids can be among the first to monkey around in this virtual world of discovery and fun. Combining the chance for kids to actually be the animal they choose with access to the limitless libraries of National Geographic, Animal Jam will open your child’s eyes to the world of science and exploration like no other virtual world out there. The only thing your kids will realize is that they’re having tons of fun in the coolest jungle around!
